![]() ![]() My motto is that anyone, or anything, can be a doll. Your favorite character from a movie or TV show or book, a legendary baseball player, your mother, the imaginary friend you had as a child—if it can be imagined, then it can be rendered into tangible form with felt, cloth, stuffing, and buttons. Most of the dolls you see on the site are my original designs, but I also do a great deal of work based on commissions—I have yet to encounter a doll I couldn't make as long as I had a picture and/or a good description to work on. Prices for commissioned dolls vary—contact me through the feedback form or email me. (Read more about commissioning dolls here.) All my dolls are handmade—and I do mean the "hand" thing literally. I use the sewing machine for the clothing on some of the cloth dolls, but mostly it's me sitting down with a needle and thread. As a result, I cannot guarantee that a doll you order will be identical to the dolls in the pictures in every respect, though I do my best to fulfill any specific request you give me. Every doll I make is unique. Which means that if I ever become famous, these dolls will all be priceless. Think of them as investments, like those Bradley Mint collector plates you see advertised on TV. Only huggable. |
