On a house at the top of a high, lonely hill
lives a girl named Jane and her aunt.
Jane tries very hard to be good for her aunt, even though neither of them likes each other very much. But when her aunt decides to send her away to a boarding school that's even grimmer than she is, Jane has to figure out a way to escape her aunt's hold on her - before it's too late!
